I live on beautiful Vancouver Island, British Columbia.  I am a wife, and a mother to a much-loved son and daughter.  I have two dogs: an elderly Golden Retriever named Charlie and a stubborn but affecionate young Basset Hound named Cooper.

I work as an RN in a Cardiovascular ICU.  In my free time I love to garden, walk, bake, fish, read, visit with friends and drink red wine.  I can often be found watching my kids at a hockey rink.  I have learned what it is like to be the Coach's wife too!

I have done a lot of travelling, and would like to do more.  I am trying to become a couponer, but it is difficult in Canada!  I am always looking for ways to cut down our household spending so we have more money for the fun stuff!  I enjoy trying new recipes, and have recently been exploring foods which affect IBD as one of my children has recently been diagnosed with Crohn's disease.
